I have a big heavy bag and a double end bag and a big mirror so in terms of specific boxing training, these are the three things i do at home, heavy bag, double end bag and shadow boxing in front of the mirror. At the gym of course with a partner there are focus mitt drills, shield drills , sparring etc etc Am i missing out on much not having or using a speedbag at all ?

My friend boxed for him back in the late 80s and said JB never once had him use a speed bag. Heavy bags,sparring and lots and lots of shadow boxing. I use it like you do, for a nice light workout.
