Opetaia has always had a respectful admiration for Usyk and the possibility of facing him in the ring. Having been close to him at a young age during their Olympic appearances, Opetaia sees a potential future showdown with Usyk as a natural progression in his career. Although he understands the timing has to be right, he remains open to the idea of facing the Ukrainian fighter.
