Joseph Parker Eyes Rematch with Anthony Joshua at Wembley

Joseph Parker has expressed his desire to have a rematch with Anthony Joshua in September at Wembley Stadium in London, signaling his eagerness for a big fight. The former WBO heavyweight champion has reinvented himself as a slick, elusive fighter, securing wins against aging opponents like Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang.

Although Parker is hoping for a rematch with Joshua, it seems unlikely as Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, is looking to match him against the winner of the upcoming fight between Filip Hrgovic and Daniel Dubois. As a result, Parker remains a secondary consideration for top fighters like Joshua, Tyson Fury, and Oleksandr Usyk, who have other priorities.

In the event that a rematch with Joshua doesn’t materialize, Parker is interested in avenging his losses against Joe Joyce and Dillian Whyte. However, there are other overlooked contenders like Agit Kabayel, Jared Anderson, and Bakhodir Jalolov who could provide challenging matchups for Parker.

Expressing his enthusiasm for a potential rematch with Joshua, Parker acknowledges the improvements both fighters have made since their last meeting. Despite the obstacles in securing a fight with top contenders, Parker remains determined to pursue big fights and showcase his skills in the ring.
