Jekumbayev retains WBA North America belt over Redkach 

Batirzhan Jekumbayev successfully defended his World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental North America super lightweight title with a fifth-round technical knockout over Ivan on Wednesday night at the Whitesands Events Center in Plant City, Florida.

The Kazakh fighter displayed his dominance and power right from the start of the match, quickly taking control of the fight. With precise punches to both the head and body, Jekumbayev secured another victory in his career and retained his regional championship title.

This win marked Jekumbayev’s fifth consecutive victory, maintaining his undefeated streak since his loss to Subriel Matias in 2021.
