Ryan Garcia Trolls Haney with Diddy Photo, Sparks Fan Debate

Ryan Garcia continues to unsettle Devin Haney with his mind games in the build-up to their April 20th fight. The popular star, Ryan (24-1, 20 KOs), posted a photo of him training on social media today, wearing a shirt with a picture of Devin and the wealthy rapper Diddy.

The Diddy shirt is just the beginning of the psychological warfare that Ryan will be conducting leading up to his April 20th fight against Haney on DAZN PPV.

Diddy Connection

The picture of Haney on Ryan’s shirt shows him and Diddy outside of the mega-million rapper/entrepreneur next to his pool filled with partiers. There are rumors that Piddy is helping to promote the Haney vs. Garcia fight on April 20th at the Barclays Center in

The location of the photo of Haney and Diddy isn’t listed, but it’s likely the ultra-expensive Holmby Hills in Los Angeles, where the Playboy mansion is located and where former Walt Disney, Hugh Hefner, Humprey Bogard, Elizabeth Taylor, and Frank Sinatra once lived.

Mind Games or Focused Training?

Ryan appears to be trying to unnerve Haney (31-0, 15 KOs), who some feel has a low frustration tolerance for mind games. Could it be Ryan’s way of sending a message of a possible partnership with Diddy, or is he just messing with Devin by wearing the t-shirt with his photo on it during a hard training session with his coach, Derrick James?

Ryan is an expert at marketing his fights, and he will likely continue to stir the pot to help build his April 20th fight on DAZN PPV. Unfortunately, all the hard work that will promote the fight is on the shoulders of Ryan and Devin’s dad, Bill Haney.

The words don’t come out of Devin’s mouth easily, so it’s up to Ryan and Bill to create interest in the April 20th event.
