‘I’m here to take this sh-t over’: Martin feeling primed to upset Tank

During the glamorous arrivals for this weekend’s highly anticipated showdown between Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis and Frank ‘The Ghost’ Martin on Prime PPV, it was Martin who took center stage as Davis decided to skip the event.

Davis’ head trainer Calvin Ford offered a public explanation that Tank was held up, although Davis himself had posted on X before deleting it, criticizing the lackluster promotion for the fight and stating his intent not to attend.

With Davis absent, Martin stepped up to the plate to talk about their upcoming match.

“I’m feeling great,” Martin declared confidently. “We’ve put in the work, I’m focused, and I’m ready to come out on top. My goal is to defeat him, and I’m here for a purpose. I’m not here just to participate; I’m here to dominate.”

When questioned about his bold belief that he will emerge victorious against Davis, Martin responded, “Because I’m unique. I possess speed, power, and intelligence. I believe I have it all. The world will see when the time comes to step up.”

“We have a fight on Saturday, and I’m going to beat him…Saturday is our chance to prove ourselves,” Martin added.

Martin (18-0, 12 KOs) may be a talented athlete, but he will be facing a more seasoned opponent in Davis (29-0, 27 KOs) on fight night. Nevertheless, Martin sees this as his moment to shine and seize the spotlight.
